Welcome to Zumbarinas! Hi, my name is Gali (AKA Crazy Minx) and I love teaching ZUMBA® classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party. My background is a blend of ballet, jazz, salsa, and belly dancing, but the best thing about Zumba is that you don’t need any dance experience at all to attend a Zumba class. Just move your body and follow my lead. It's easy!   Experience: Taught ballet for a number of years.Member of the first all female amateur salsa dance group called the Salsa with Atti-Tude Rising Stars which performed at Salsa on Sundays in Euston, London in July 2002. I taught salsa beginners classes for Dean Maynard in Hertfordshire until mid 2003. I started a small salsa school in 2003 with my close friend Carmen Sheppard called 2 left feet. The funny thing is we often got distracted from traditional salsa and did lots of footwork and madness to other (more funky) music.  After doing this for a few songs we would suddenly remember that we were meant to be teaching salsa. Teaching Zumba allows me to do madness without feeling guilty! Character: Utterly crazy, earned the name Crazy Minx years ago at salsa. Distinguishing dance characteristics: Madness, sticking out bottom (rebelling against years of ballet training).
